Every till runs a full local database, so sales ring in milliseconds whether you’re connected or not. Receipts print, stock counts down, cash-ups balance. All offline.

When the connection returns, everything syncs to the cloud automatically, in order, without duplicates.

And if load-shedding ever comes back (Eskom still keeps Stage 2 to 6 officially on the table), you’re already covered. Pair a till with any laptop or Android device on battery and keep trading straight through a blackout.

Database-level isolation
Raqam is multi-tenant with row-level security enforced in the database itself. Your business's data is isolated at the lowest layer, not by a checkbox in application code.
POPIA-aligned, hash-only credentials
Personal information is handled in line with POPIA: we collect the minimum, staff credentials are stored as one-way hashes (never plaintext), and sensitive recovery codes are hashed on the device so even a stolen till gives up nothing.
Remote revoke that holds offline
Lost or stolen hardware can be revoked remotely, and a revoked till stays revoked, even offline.
